UTM have been ranked 2nd places in Malaysia based on the latest Webometrics Ranking January 2011. In the July 2010 listing, UTM ranked second among Malaysia’s universities. The Webometrics rankings are updated every six months. For world ranking in July 2010, UTM’s Web sites ranks 758 among and in January 2011, UTM’s ranks 694 among University Web sites for more than 20,000 universities around the world.
